Acting Head shots

I never paid for any pictures in my life. Other than $50 for my first ones since 2008 until this year. Now that I am with Silver Models I start noticing the difference between freelance modeling and modeling with an agency. I might have created a small buzz in my model resume but I still have ways to go until I am noticeable in the entertainment field. So I know modeling is a very shady and hard industry to be in. It is much more than working out, looking good, and going on castings. It is still an industry where models come a dime a dozen so to get ahead of everyone else I want to start building a acting resume while pursuing success in this field. Ultimately acting breathes lucrative longevity in the long run. I am using modeling to open more doors for me so when I am done, getting a gig will be a easy thing. My agent referred me to Dorothy Shi (www.Shistudiosnyc.com) a long time professional photographer who has been working with my agent for over 20+ years. Her price was cheap and her work talked for its self so I ended up getting some professional head shots from her. It seems that even though I am spoiled when it comes to not paying for pictures I see that sometimes paying for your own pictures for the real professionals are worth it.. But that doesn't mean I might be spending another dime any time soon...
