I used to be a Bouncer

When I was younger and even more financially challenged than I am now I used to window shop alot. I eventually would go on long meaningless walks as I became older and found myself traveling to the city once in a while out of boredom. I had a pair of head phones and a new cd player one day so I began to walk around in times square 42nd st area, and as I was walking I happened to walk by a club named the China Club. I heard about the club in a show called the Dave Chapelle Show which was very popular @ the time.

When I looked at the front of the club I saw one of the first celebs that I seen in person. Her name was "Kelis" and I just happened to be a fan of her music so naturally I was star struck. Right near Kelis was a tall bouncer which was standing right near her, so close that he can kiss her if he wanted to. Thats how I got the idea of becoming a bouncer. If I was able to get that close to a celeb then I can probably get to know one. I got exactly what I asked for when I started bouncing when I was 21. My first body guard assignment was Shaquille Oneal @ a restaurant named Tao.

From there I encountered celebs such as Uma Therman @ (The Gates), Vin diesel @ (Goldbar), Nick Cannon @ (a event called the Stoli Hotel),   Fabolous (Cain), Vince Carter (Cain), Kristin Davis (Cain), Tyson Beckford (Surflodge Montauk L.I), Kelis (Cain), Nas (The Gates) etc. There were only a handful that I actually snuck a quick conversation with. It was fun for a little while but eventually I stopped bouncing. I had a hard time finding dignity with in myself working as one. After bouncing around to different places and eventually working at bars I didn't find any pride being one as before.

I got into real estate so I can feel better about using my brain other than my body for making money. At the same time I realize that if it wasn't for security I would not have met all of the people that I have in my life now. I met beautiful women, celebs, got great connections, met billionaires, models and people I would have never met if it was not for the club scene. I think I might get back into it once a week a loved one suggested to me. Have to find a new club I never worked in before........
